From the Richmond Examiner, 6/21/1864

OUR WOUNDED FROM THE SOUTHSIDE up to yesterday, and admitted at the Seabrook Receiving Hospital, numbered over eight hundred, all of whom received their wounds in the fighting which commenced on Wednesday and Thursday last in the vicinity of Petersburg. The wounded are comfortably cared for and doing well. The proportion of officers killed and wounded in the battles on the south side is much less than in those fought on the north side.
