DEATH OF PHILIP RAHM. - We regret to learn that Mr. Philip Rahm, proprietor of the "Eagle Foundry," in this city, died yesterday morning, at his residence, on 8th street, from lockjaw. He injured his finger several days ago, whilst assisting in the removal of a boiler, and acute inflammation supervened, followed by symptoms of lockjaw. Dr. Bolton amputated the finger; but the operation was unavailing. The deceased was one of the most industrious men in the community, and had amassed considerable means as the fruits of his labor and perseverance. He commenced business on a very small scale, but at length became the proprietor of the extensive machine shops on Cary street, near 14th. His funeral will take place to-morrow from the Monumental Church.
