The Confederate Flag. – We saw on Saturday the first flag of the Confederate States in accordance with the design of Congress adopted at its recent session. The white ground was recommended by a number of military and naval officers, as possessing the requisite of distinguishment at a long distance. The battle-flag was retained as the union because of its association with so many brilliant feats of our brave men under it.
