THE CITY COUNCIL. – The City Council meets in regular session at 5 o’clock this afternoon. Several important measures will come before this meeting. The difficulty in relation to the fire captains will probably come up again, and the petition of the citizens of Church and Union Hills for the purchase of Chimborazo Heights for a park will, we presume, be presented.
