The Break in the Canal.
The break which occurred in the canal a few days ago near Rutherford’s old mill has been repaired sufficiently to turn the water on to-day. The break was between the old and new pump-houses, and by the accident operations have been almost entirely suspended at the Tredegar Works, the Gallego Mills, the Richmond Paper-Mills and other establishments. The suspension caused great inconvenience and loss.
