LADIES’ FESTIVAL. – The ladies of Hanover will hold a FESTIVAL at Gaines’ farm on THURSDAY, August 22, for the rebuilding of Beulah church, which was burned by the Federal army in 1864. Conveyances will meet the visitors on the York River railroad at Fair Oaks station in the morning, and take them back in the evening in time to reach Richmond by 7 o’clock.
There will be an opportunity afforded of visiting the battle-grounds of Gaines’s mill and Cold Harbor.
Addresses will be delivered by several distinguished speakers.
