SEVERAL DEATHS YESTERDAY.
Among them Mr. John Latouche, Who Was Adjutant of Libby.

Mr. John Latouche, Sr., one of the oldest merchant-tailors in Richmond, died yesterday, in the seventieth year of his age.

Mr. Latouche had been a highly-respected citizen of Richmond for more than thirty years, and was adjutant at Libby Prison during the war, when Union prisoners were confined therein.

Deceased was born in London of French parents and came to Virginia to live some time during the ‘40s. He went to Alexandria and lived for awhile, but returned here before the war and was a member of the Grays. Mr. Latouche was able to be about on Friday, but had been a great sufferer for many years.He leaves a widow and the following children: Mrs. Josie K. Edwards, Messrs. Paul, Frank, John, Jr., Treville, L. J. B., and Miss Fannie.

The funeral will take place from the Clay-Street Baptist at 4 o’clock this afternoon. Deceased was a member of Joppa Lodge of Masons.
